Nominator's project description
| Professor Fu is internationally renowned for his contributions to the understanding and modelling of radiative transfer in the Earth's atmosphere. His research has resolved riddles related to the vertical structure of global warming and the role of ice clouds and has helped spur the development of new techniques in radiative transfer modelling. While in Germany, he will explore the effect of processes constraining the vertical structure of warming and their implication for climate change. |
